Breakfast Crumble

A delicious, warming, breakfast or brunch that takes no time at all to whip together.


Top tip: Make this the night before so its ready to tuck in!


What you will need:

A selection of fruit - apples, pears, plums (frozen berries) roughly chopped

3 cups of oats

2 handfuls of nuts & seeds of your choice

Maple Syrup

Cinnamon or mixed spice

Olive oil

Yogurt to serve


Let's cook:

1. Preheat the oven to 180c / 350f / gas mark 4.

2. roughly chop your fruit, removing the core.

3. Add the pieces of fruit to an oven dish, sprinkle over 1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon and a splash of water.

4. Mix everything together and place in the oven for 20 minutes.

5. Mix together the oats, nuts and seeds of your choice, a good sprinkle of ground cinnamon, 1 tbsp of maple syrup and a drizzle of olive oil.

6. Carefully remove the fruit from the oven and top evenly with the oaty mixture before placing back into the oven to continue to back for a further 15 minutes.

7. Serve hot or warm with a dollop of your favourite yogurt.
